One of the hardest things
Is to feel the feels.
It's not easy because if uncomfortable
Who wants to sit with or in the feels of thier life?
No one
It's brutal,
But it's within the feeling that there is healing
The most common thing to do is to not feel,
To distract
To push away the feels
And do anything but feel them...
And I get it,
The hardest thing to do is to feel the feels
We are not taught that it's OK to feel them
Or that it will pass
We are taught and shown to try to avoid them and when they show up,
Do anything to ignore them
Am I right?
Each time life gives me hard feels to feel
I cringe having to go through them
To try to allow them
And be with them as best as I can be
Because all I want is for them to not be there
To not have to feel them
But it's in these feels
That we see things and feel things that will help us grow, let go or change.
This is a process of transformation
Key word... a process,
So remember love,
It's OK to feel the feels,
It ok to be in the ick
As long as you know it will pass,
You will get through this process
And by being in it, experiencing it...
It's uncomfortable and that's OK
But what can you do to get you through it?

Feeling the feels because
Feeling is healing,
and it's the hardest part
So it's not about how can I NOT feel it
But how can I support myself through the feelings and ick?
Nature is amazing, be in it as often as you can, it helps.
Authentic conversations with one's you love
And within yourself can also be really supportive.
Because love, you need more love,
Not less, always
And especially when life has feels to it.
